The Servants of the Paraclete offer individual retreats with direction/accompaniment if desired. Priests and Religious Brothers come to Lourdes House of Prayer for their annual retreat, to prepare for a new assignment, and/or to seek God’s help in facing important decisions or issues in their life. Experienced spiritual directors are available.
Priests and Religious also come to Lourdes House of Prayer simply to have time for reflection, spiritual reading and prayer, especially before the Blessed Sacrament. Paraclete spirituality is Eucharistic, dependent upon the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, and directed toward ministry of priests and religious. All are free to join in the community prayer of the Servants of the Paraclete and one or other of the two daily hours that are provided, or may prefer to follow their own particular way of prayer and reflection.
Small groups of up to eight priests/religious brothers can be accommodated at Lourdes House of Prayer. Groups of retreatants numbering from 9 to 24 can also be accommodated at the Fitzgerald Center, a Paraclete Retreat Center about one mile south of Lourdes House of Prayer. Bookings for such group retreats need to be made well in advance to the date of the retreat.
